We did the Cannonball 8000 rally this weekend from London to Croatia, and it was brilliant! Even though we broke down twice, and had to drive at least 1,500 miles more than we thought we'd have to, we really enjoyed it. We got back on Thursday after staying at various places around Europe on our way back. Austria had to be the best, the landscape during the summer is simply awesome.
